  Words do not describe how incredibly authentic this place is! I am a hard core foodie with many reviews out there - some good and some not so good, and the good reviews aren't earned easily. I am also a hard core cook at home and any review that says anything remotely bad about the food here is just hog wash. Their snarky remarks just elude to their unsophisticated American palettes tainted by a poor excuse for "Italian" food like, say, Domino's or The Olive Garden. Olivella's is quite possibly one of the best Italian restaurants in Dallas. The lasagna is my favorite with pasta as light as a cloud and a killer sauce! Do not be fooled by the short, critical reviews of this charming eatery right in Lakewood's backyard! This is a quaint dining experience you'll be longing for over and over again!

  Place was horrible. Staff was odd, not rude just weird. Food was horrible. Expensive too for sauce that taste like watered down tomato paste.
  The location is great, fantastic patio, but pizza is just horrible.
  Do yourself a favor, go to Pizza Patron.
